Relaxation day

Today was a really restful day with a small amount achieved, but mostly just relaxing and not really pushing myself about much.


We all have those days when we're bored or stressed out and just need to relax. Today was one of them days for me. I woke up later than usual after sleeping like a log in my cosy bed. I did a few stretches to begin the day and I learnt that doing this helps blood circulation and oxygen get to the brain. I ran a nice warm bubble bath and brushed my teeth of course. Once the bath was filled up, I got in and spent thirty minutes in there thinking about good things. I pat myself dry and threw on some comfy casual clothes which would help me relax throughout the day. I stepped into the kitchen and took a bite from some healthy, nutritional foods such as mango, water melon, apple and kiwi. Luckily my mum had made green tea which works wonders for helping me feel cosy and relaxed. I prefer green tea sometimes than coffee or regular tea because I find that coffee and regular tea make me feel more restless especially if I drink too much of it. After that, I went for a walk and my little sister and cousin chose to join me. I got to clear my mind and catch some fresh air. On the way back we bought lots of things to munch on later. Finally after a hour or two, I had the house to myself!I went to my room, shut the door and had my hot chocolate ready. I got straight into my onesie and immediately curled up on my bed with a blanket. I watched some of my favourite chick flicks which helped raise my mood. I spent the rest of the evening reading some magazines then switched onto reading a book.

So that is my relaxing day complete, and girls you will feel on top of the world once you have had a day where you can just chillax. If you have had a stressful week at school, college, work etc. then treat yourself to a day where it is all about you. I'm about to end this day by posting this blog then going to sleep.
